     TRAVEL MASSIVE ROAD TRIP
                      CHANIA

To try fitting the Greek mentality and lifestyle in a European ( mainly northern one ) is impossible.
We Greeks keep our traditions , our history and our cultural influences over us like a second skin. This is what makes us so attractive , so exotic , so comfortable and welcoming and yet chaotic and sometimes so crazy to the rest of the world.

Our Travel Massive Road Trip took place from May 07 till May 14 2016 and we had the opportunity to sightsee, showcase, collaborate and interact with many different travel and tourism sectors throughout the whole island. The municipality of each prefecture helped us as well, without them some excursions would be impossible. We kindly thank them for their generosity.

Kydon Hotel provided me with a marvelous hospitality, and is one of my favorite hotels, located right in the heart of the city.. You can rely on their professionalism.

Pnevmatikos Winery, and Biolea Astrika Estate Organic Olive oil.

Crete is well known for it's Filoxenia (Hospitality)
therefore you can enjoy it at the max.

The  samplings are great and they usually have a good deal for a bottle purchase with the tasting.

The staff is friendly and knowledgeable without being pompous or pushy.  The view is just so gorgeous.

Thank you STRATA TOURS , the Cellar Restaurant and Kissamia Hospitality.

What is Travel Massive? Travel Massive is a network of locally organized communities of travel industry insiders who care about making travel better. Our Travel Massive event in Chania was hosted on Mr George Stamatakis' Yacht , the beautiful Lady Roula II . Creta Luxury Cruises we thank you!!

Local dancers, singers and artists were performing right outside.
One of the best jewelry designers and local artisan of Chania, mrs Katerina Andrigiannaki was also there, as K.And is a proud member of Travel Massive Crete.

The Alcoholic and delicious beverages were sponsored by By-Raki Flavor
Thank you mr George Nikoforos

The very beautiful Botanical park of Crete was our next awesome stop for exploring. Thousands of fruit trees, herbs, spices, medicinal and ornamental plants were waiting for us. Mr. Marinakis was waiting for us, and patiently catered to all our questions, thoughts, needs and hunger.. We enjoyed the authentic Cretan cuisine at it's finest.

I really was amazed by the beauty of the Manousakis Winery and I consider it the perfect setting for a wine tasting and relaxing with friends. The friendly staff is there to guide you, and a quirky fantastic dog offers tons of kisses..  Struck by the rough yet mesmerizing view of Omalos Mountain, and the Samaria Gorge, I highly recommend it to everyone.

The Cheese Factory that belongs to the Papagiannakis Bros in Pervolakia made my day in personal, since I am a sucker for cheese,
but the highlight of the whole trip was the welcoming  at Rebecca's parents farm house the very first day. They Treated us  meze and raki and they gave us a whole lot of love to remember!

Next day next trip Rethymno Conquered..

A very special Thank you to : Biolea Astrikas Estate, Papagiannakis cheese factory,  Kissamia Hospitality, Pneumatikakis Winery, By-raki Flavoured Raki, Creta Luxury Cruises, Botanical Park of Crete. And of Course the KTEL . Excursions powered by Crete Urban Adventures, Grecian Lux and by Strata Tours.
